Internet Explorer 6 won't save my toolbar locations???

Hello,

I've just recently run into a baffling problem with Internet Explorer 6.
When I move or modify a toolbar then exit out of IE, the changes I just
made are not saved. If I open IE6 again, the toolbars and/or buttons are
back to the way they were before I made the changes. I've tried checking
and unchecking the 'Lock the Toolbars' control but it didn't help.

Kelly's corner doesn't seem to have any tips on this either. I have
scanned for malware with AdAware SE, Spyware Blaster and Spybot S&D. I
have tried rebooting. I have done on-line scans with Bitdefender and
F-Secure and found nothing. The system runs normal otherwise. Windows
Defender does not alert me about anything and runs a full scan with
nothing found.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.
