Internet Explorer 6 does not connect to certain web pages

I am running Windows XP-SP2 and Internet Explorer 6.
I have discovered that I cannot access certain web pages from my
ISP(freeserve.co.uk) Home Page.
Freeserve say that my browser settings need adjustment.
All the pages involved show an address beginning with "javascript:fsPop".
I am not sure where to go from here.
Can anyone give me information how to solve my problem and access the web
pages involved?

Hi,
First check the IE pop-up blocker... IE> Tools...

Then check that you don't have another (security) program blocking
scripts/scripting.

Go to Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone, set it to Default.

Then, you might try a refresh of the scripting engine. Go to
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp
for the appropriate download.

Try this command from Start> Run
iexplore.exe /rereg [enter]
This reregisters all DLLs used by IE.

For the general problem of "New windows won't open" these pages may help:
