Internet Explorer 6 Disables Enter Key

This is the weirdest thing I have ever heard of. When I
close Internet Explorer 6, it disables my enter key. I
have played with it and even called the tech support for my
computer (Compaq). I have also checked for a virus. Has
anyone ran across this before? Can anyone help? Thanks!
