Internet Explorer 6 crash

Every other time I try to open the browser I get an error
message that says that IE must shut down. Then after I
send or don't send the error report my desktop goes blank
for a second, then everything reappers and I can then
open the browser. I'm not quite sure what the problem is.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
