Hi Guys.

My laptop has a dial up connection to bigpond and i have been experiencing
the problem when i connect to the internet that at random times that
Internet Explorer will come up with a message saying something like "Cant
reach/connect to the domain". But if i keep refreshing, it eventually
reaches the site.

Does anyone know a solution to this? I ran Ad-aware and that was fine.
Thanks!

Jus

What You Should Know About Spyware

When I was a bigpond customer I used Telstra's DNS server as primary and secondary, When I was an Optus user I used Optus as primary and Telstra as secondary. Now I use a small ISP whose DNS servers can't find most sites in the world (and is very slow) I use Telstra DNS servers as primary/secondary. All DNS servers have problems occasionally. Telstra's is relatively good.

Also it's extremely reliable now - & hard to beat on Broadband cable, free
changeover to DOCSIS modems, $AU53.96 ($US38.50)/mth unlimited d'load, plus
10MB free website.
Nary a complaint on broadband.users
(I hope you're referring to little Johnnie, not me, David)

It's Margo not me. While I was a tory till 1990 (I was a big fan of malcolm) I wouldn't vote for johnny the traitor. Margo voted for him.

Catch 22?

What the Labor party will do is set up advocacy groups which will oppose a labour government. Contrast to the right that only funds groups supporting the government. A labour government will set the structure for some progressive change while being a rightist government itself.

This is better than what exists now.

Sorry, David, I must be getting old (actually, I am), couldn't follow that
100%.
Could you simplify? Mail direct if you like.
