Internet Explorer 6.0 Crashes

When I am browsing web pages using Microsoft Internet
Explorer, certain sites crash. I've looked through a lot
of the suggestions on this site, yet none have cured my
problem. As said, IE only crashes on some sites. I have
checked Java, and already have AdAware and others
installed. This has been happening for a few months now,
and is taking it's toll. Help files that run in Internet
Explorer have started to close, and files that are save
to download do not work (e.g MSN Messenger). Please help.

Did you update Ad-Aware and Spybot S & D before scanning with them>
Did you post your HijackThis log per this article?
