this problem started about 2 weeks ago. I can get into
Internet Explorere but it will randomly freeze and I must
close it out. It asks to send an error report. I can then
re-open IE but its annoying and it just started out of the
blue. Anyone with any info on how to fix this is greatly
appreciated. Can i just re-install Internet Exp. 6? or is
there an easier fix. Thanks again, email

First eliminate any scumware.
See

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

**Post your HijackThis log to

Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder
may be found on this page:

If nothing there helps, please post back to this thread.

I found that reinstalling IE6 fixed that dilemma, but I
wish I never installed 6.0 to begin with. It seems 5.5
was very stable and had fewer errors.
