Internet crashing

When accessing internet sites I can access about 10 pages
then the system goes slow, I then get the web page has
expired warning and am unable to access any websites...
any suguestions?

I have a firewall installed but have tried with it enabled
and disabled.

Have you run a virus scan on your system lately? This sounds like the
Welchia or Nachi virus.

What does a scan with your current antivirus (using updated definitions)
show? Also, spyware/malware can cause this, so download, install, and
remove bad stuff with Spybot Search & Destroy and/or Ad-aware. Did that
fix the problem? If not, please post back with details about your
system.
