Contact your ISP. Perhaps you havn't paid a recent invoice.

Not every ISP assigns a user name and password. This could be why you are having this issue. What steps do you take to get around the user name and password in Vista if the ISP does not assign a user name and password or if that network does not support user name's and passwords.

BTW this was a good post. It's a real problem. My ISP didn't provide me with
a user name or password and now I have no idea how I'm gonna connect via my
broadband connection.
