internet connection

when accessing the net via aol or internet explorer, i have no problem
getting a connection. I can browse ok, but when i try to interact, i get the
message "cannot find server". this happens when I try to get into "my ebay"
or when I try to access my bank account.
I can browse ebay and only get the message when i try to access my ebay.
 
not sure what to recommend. but since you cant get into "my ebay account" or
you bank account, it sounds like some kind of issue with your security. Both
sites would probably display an icon that looks like a yellowish pad lock
somewhere in your browser. When you visit ordinary sites the lock appears
open and when you are in a secured site the lock appears locked. Since you
don't have the high security level set to protect you, then the sites are not
being loaded. Double check your browser to ensure at least 128 bit cipher
strengh. You may simply have to download an updated browser or maybe use
another one. Try Avant browser to see if you bypass the issues....
