Hi all!!

I have recenlty installed WinXP Sp2 Rc1 on my PC. Now i
have scenario that i have 2 Pcs both having WinXP with RC1
of Sp2. Now i Connect PC1 with Dailup having Internet
Connection Sharing Enabled. It used to work pretty fine
for me.

after i installed its not working. it did once worked..
but since then other PC is unable to get Dynamic IP from
PC1. I have tried Running Network Setup Wizard many time
but no Use. {if other PC is assigned static IP. Lan works
and both PCs can ping each other)

What can be the possible PRoblem?? is it due to Sp2 or
soem other cause?? help me out

[note: if i make pc2 a sever and set my PC1 to get Dynamic
IP it works fine]

REgards,

The problem could be with the new Windows Firewall. Run the Network
Setup Wizard on each computer, setting up the main PC as an ICS host
and the other PC as an ICS client. The Wizard should automatically
make all the right settings, including the ones for the firewall. If
it asks, tell the Wizard that you want to allow file sharing between
the computers.
