I first posted about this problem in Feb., I wish I could say problem solved but apparently that would be the easy way out. I have contacted the computer manufacturer several times and have tried every solution suggested without my problem being solved. In the beginning aol was my isp and had several support sessions with them as well. What made up my mind to drop aol, oh I wont get into that. I canceled aol and signed up with sbc yahoo, all was great for the first week - week and a half and then all the sudden it is taking 6 - 7 - 8 and more attempts before I finally get connected. I am not having the connection was lost problem with sbc like I had with aol. The error messages I get are "your connection attempt failed because the modem (or other connection device) on the remote computer is out of order" another says something like the remote computer failed to respond. I am at my wits end with this computer, and believe me I have told the manufacturer that and more. I believe the problem can be resolved through the manufacturer but they are dragging there feet until my warranty is up and then whatever the problem is I will have to pay out my pocket. There is no way that 7 different access numbers with two different isp's can have the modem(or other connection device)out of order. What ever is causing this problem, the solution lies with the manufacturer not my isp. Sorry I don't mean to rant but this has been going on from the day I took it out of the box and set it up which was 48 days ago! Can someone help me out I am ready to box this thing up and ship it back to the manufacturer.
