Internet Connection Fallback to Dialup?

Hi
I have had a bradband connection for about 5 years and recently I keep
getting the dialup connection selection come up each time I try to open a new
page on Internet. I cancel this and the page is displayed so I have a link on
the broadband.
What has happened? How can I fix this?
Thanks

Jim,

It sounds like your browser is configured for dial-up. In Internet Explorer,
for instance, Tools - Internet Options - Connections. Select "Never dial a
connection".

Thanks for the thought but it is, and has always been, set to "Never dial a
connection" - I leave it there for the occassions when the broadband is down.
