Internet Certificates Gone

So my dad was messing around with his machine and somehow ended up
changing the time far enough in the future that all his certificates
expired. At least so he tells me. So now whenever he goes to any
website with any browser, he is constantly pestered with invalid
certificate messages. How can I get the default certificates back?

This issue is often caused when your computer's date is incorrect. Verify
that your time, month, day, and especially year is correct. And finally check
your in the correct time zone.

Generally, time expired access is designed such that it doesn't magically
allow access again if you wind the clock back. If it did, there would be a
simple work around for time expired access, games, demo software etc.

Correct his time, date, and time zone, then get the machine fully patched at
Windows Update.
