internet access

realised that i had a problem when any address typed in sent me to the same site called "search everything".Ran adware ,spybot ,norton and stinger and cookie shredder ,which said that it removed a trojan from Media player.Since then any address typed in says"cannot find ----(web site)--,make sure the path or internet address is correct"My computer is running much faster ,but i cant go anywhere!!I canstill access the web through my favs. which still works .Any help on how to get back to normal?Also after running Spybot it says 7 entries to be removed ,which i say yes ,but when you run it again ,the same 7 entries are there ,even though it said they have been removed.all this was done with system restore unchecked
