Access Internet access

hi, please i need some help, yesterday i update windows xp and my internet explorer, and now i cant have access to internet explorer and i dont know what to do. I have access to my local network but i cant use the explorer what can i do? someone know?
 
For now, use the System Restore function in Windows XP (under Help on the start menu). That will roll back any changes and should let you use the internet again to help diagnose the problem :)
