Post your results of a ipconfig /all here so the more
knowledgable people(meaning more than me) can analyze it
and be sure you're not getting an APIPA address as well as
other things they can then look at.

We installed a Windows 2000 Adv Server as a DC/DHCP/WINS/
server. We setup the dhcp with an address scope of:
192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.10 (With 192.168.1.1-5
Excluded). It work ok. All 4 current workstation was able
to gain access to the LAN/WAN(Internet).
Then We added 2 new workstations(W2k Pro SP4), Since only
1 remaining IP is available for assignment, we change the
scope and made it up to 192.168.1.15.
Here's the Problem:

The two new WS can access everything within the LAN-
FIles,Printers,Exchange Server, receive/send email, but it
cannot access any internet site and cannot ping any WAN Ip
address...
As a work around we deleted the current DHCP scope and
created a new but the same problem. Only the four original
workstations is allow access to the internet...

Thank you for your response

I was able to figure out what was the problem. The old DHCP server was our Sonicwall SOHO3 firewall router. We initially set it to allocate up to 4 ip addresses only. When we move the DHCP service to our new Windows 2000 Server, and added the two new workstation, our router was still doing the DHCP service. We restarted the router and it solved the problem

Thanks again.
