International versions of .net framework

There are various versions of the dotnextfx installer fro different
"cultures" / languages. Is the installed framework different or is it
just the setup part of it? Out of curiosity why cannot one version cover
all by detecting the current culture?

Thanks

Als je met de installer de setup bedoeld. Het is in mijn opinion in veel te
weinig talen (sommige delen zijn hard gecodeerd in Engels).

I hope this helps,

Cor,

I think that is Dutch? Unlike Holland we Australians rarely speak any
other language! So no it does not help!

There is written.
If you with the installer means the setup. It is my opinion that it is in to
few languages. (some parts are hard coded in English).

I hope you understand as well why I did it this way

Howdy mate :)

No the basic framework is exactly the same ,,, only the error messages are
different ( so installing a standard framework on a German computer will
result in English error messages if the program runs in an error )

starting off framework 1.1 you have even seperate language packs for the
framework so you can install one basic framework and later decide to
install a language pack if this is necessary ( if you customer wants to see
"Fehler ! etc etc etc " instead of "Error etc etc etc " .

Cor
Cor,

Yes I understand (although I have run several German setups and find I
can get through just by knowing what they are trying to do).
