Internal zip/unzip function? Also archives?

Apologies if this has been discussed before. I'd have searched the list
archives if I knew where to look (?)

Are there internal functions to zip and unzip external files? Right now I'm
creating command line procedures and shelling out to them, which is kind of
crummy.

I'd recommend WinRar & RAR-format. RAR is much mure efficient in compression
than ZIP, it's just a little bit slower. WinRar has command line parameters
as well.

I have a internal solution here:

It does requite that you place two dll's in the same dir as the mdb file....

however, it far better then using shell, and further you don't have to
install any other zip utility ....
