Internal Error 2738

I am trying to install Palm software onto XP
Professional os and I am getting Internal error 2738.
This is a work computer on a network. Any help would be
appreicated.

Error 2738 Could not access VBScript runtime for custom action

Not much info on this on the Net.
Try to do windows updates. Good luck!
