Internal Error 25003

Can nebody plz tell me y i get this error during VS.net
installation. The error occurs after the Windows Update
when the 1st disk is executing the action "VsDevGroup.."

I hv got Windows 2000 Server loaded on my PC and am
clueless bout getting such an error.. I hv seen this
installation run successfully on PCs of same config as
mine..

Plz Plz HELP!!!!!
