Frequently when I turn my computer on the clock on the
task bar is two hours late. It is always exactly two
hours late and I can click on the time and change it to
the right time. Is the internal (motherboard) battery bad
or what? please email me at (e-mail address removed) thanks in
Advance, Greg

If it is always "exactly" two hours late, you've got it
set at the wrong time zone. Go here to correct it:
Start/ControlPanel/Date,time, language.../Date and
Time/Time Zone tab/reset for your zone/click Apply/OK.

A bad battery would result in times that are wildly wrong - not an exact
2 hours. The Windows clock reads the motherboard clock at boot as a
starting point, and this sounds to me as if the two have 'Use daylight
saving' settings that are at cross purposes. So look in BIOS setup and
in Control Panel - Date and Time. Have DST off in BIOS if there is a
setting, and on in Control Panel
