Intermittent Connection problem with IE

Hi All,
I have a computer ( WIN XP PRO) which has a intermittent connection problem
with IE. I've tried all possibilities from changing the mainboard, network
cables, network points, re-format the entire pc i.e. the works! And still IE
has this funny problem of "shutting" itself off while in use i.e. there is a
sudden lost of connection. I have to constanstly go to the Network connection
to repair and wait for awhile before the IE can be use again. The funny thing
is while IE is not able to connect during the "shut down" period, the email,
network and MSN is working perfectly.

I've updated the needed updates for IE but the problem still persists. I'm
really baffled as to why this is happening. All other computers in the
network do not have this problem.

Appreciate any advice anyone might have in solving this problem. Thanks

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I've already tried running Ad-Aware and antivirus
scans. For the Ad-aware it showed some bugs, have since gotten rid of them.
As for the antivirus scan, it showed no virus.

I've also checked through the Event viewer, found an error message about the
computer not being able to Autoenrol, some message pertaining to
Autoenrollment. Did a check and found the solution to this, but the problme
persists.

Is there a solution to this? apart from having to re-install the OS again? :-(
