Intermittant taskbar program

About every 15 minutes a blank taskbar program appears for an instant.
I've tried seeing what it is in "windows task manager" but Its either
too quick to show up or the process doesn't appear on the first page of
the process list (no time to scroll).
How can I find out what this program is? (Is there a detailed logging of
running programs perhaps?)

Hi,

Go to Start/Run/Msconfig/Startup. Other than that, read the logfile from
here:

It sounds as though it is a bat file of some sort. Some OEM systems,
especially HP have update tasks running upon boot. Hope this helps and good
