intermitant email problem

I have set up windows email correctly as evidenced by the fact that when I
open it initially, I receive my mail. Once it is open, if I hit send/receive
it gives me a bland error message and sais 0 of 1 task completed. I suspect
that this has to do with using 'Windows Easy Transfer' to move my files from
my old computer, but that's just a guess. I can also send mail, which goes
through even thought I get the same error message.

What's the problem and How to I fix it?
 
The account may have been corrupted.
Try deleting it, restart Windows Mail, then recreate that account.
If that did not correct the problem, which antivirus are you using?
