I have an Interlink Navigator -- has two buttons for advance/rewind
screen, one to blank it out, and a laser pointer.

In presenter view, it won't advance the slides. The blank screen still
works, but I seem to either have to hit the space bar or right arrow
to advance, and would really like to be able to use the device
instead.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

What operating system is the computer? Does it work on another computer? Are
you certain the remote and the receiver are sync'd?

I can say I use the same remote extensively and my only problem has been
either not sync'd (I actually have several of the remotes and usually they
are not sync'd because I mixed them up) or on occassion because of a USB
problem (but unplugging receiver and replugging corrects it every time).

Hi Troy:

Thanks for your reply. The Navigator works just fine in every other
way, just not in presenter view specifically. I am using XP
Professional.

I have to stand in from of the monitor and either click a wireless
mouse, or the spacebar. It syncs, because I can blank the screen with
the other button. Instead of advancing the slide, it seems to want to
scroll through the speaker's notes instead.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

It sounds like the Navigator's focus is on the speaker notes. I'll try to
dig mine up, but until then, try hitting Tab a few times (maybe just once,
if my quick experiment is any indication) so that the right-pointing arrow
is highlighted. Then hit the Navigator button.
