Interactive Buttons

I am using FP 2003 and just getting acquainted with interactive buttons. Are
they meant to be used on a whole site or just for "special events"?

Also, because each one has 3 images I'm concerned about the additional file
size they may generate. Does anyone know how much weight each one adds?
Thank you!

Use them wherever and whenever you wish.

I just ran a quick test and one button required three JPEG
pictures totaling about 10KB. Using GIF format reduced
this to about 5KB. This was with a button that had 3D
shading. A button that uses only solid colors would
probably compress better.

And if you generate your own (or optimize the originals as custom buttons) you could get even smaller file sizes. For customizing
them See
