Inter Forest Migration

Scenario: a company (company b) that was acquired by a
larger company (company A) upgraded to W2K/AD and created
a new "tree" in an existing forest (company A's) so they
could have their own top level domain. Now company b is
being cut loose and wants to take their user/computer
accounts/objects and keep their existing structure. Can
this domain (company b) be migrated to a newly created AD
Forest without having to manually create all the accounts
and objects? Is ADMTv.2 the correct tool? Will this keep
the SID's?

Yes ADMT is the right tool. It will keep the old SID's in the SIDhistroy
attribute.
