intellimouse explorer 3.0a buttons set but not working

Hi, I installed software for my mouse - v 5.0 - but found out i cannot bind
keys/mousebuttons so i uninstalled and installed 3.1 back. Now I can set the
keybindings, but they simply do not work :/

My mouse is detected as an HID-compliant mouse - Mice and other pointing
devices

Can you give me some pointers on this issue, please.

Hi,

An update to Intellipoint will be released soon which will fix the
functionality of keystroke bindings to mouse buttons. You should install it
when it becomes available.
