Just a few minutes ago a very annoying pop-up (manifesting itself as a
little puppy, CashBack) made its appearance on my machine. It brought with
it something called Intelligent Explorer. I have all the pop-ups blocked via
IE under SP2 but this thing made it through. Now, everytime I go to a
different page, I get several ads popping up and the little dog shows up
again even though I had just turned it off. Anyone know anyway for getting
rid of this annoyance? Thanks!
 
You need to rid yourself of Spyware. Get Adaware SE, CWShredder, Spybot
Search and Destroy and run a good anti virus and firewall. The pop-up
blocker doesn't protect you from invasions.
