Install of the Intel display Driver Update Oct 08, 2003 (current on Update Page 03/01/04) caused OS Failure - getting a Page Fault on reboot which causes a dump and reboot. Same failure on Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows 2000 Server installs. Machine is COMPAQ D510 which contains the Intel Display and I am wondering is other users have seen similar failure. Also how to fix this on Windows 2000 OS since it doesn't appear I can put back the old driver in Safe Mode and VGA mode also seems to be affected?
(Windows XP I was able to replace the driver in Safe Mode, reboot which caused bad driver to be Reapplied by Windows XP but was able to reinstall Old Driver before reboot, so much for reverting Drivers under Windows XP, none of those
functions worked in my tests, as documented. Seems some OEM drivers don't play well here).

Try booting with the Win 2K cd in place and doing a repair install
