Intel 640 motherboard?

I'm confused,
Are the motherboards with the 925x chipset
for the intel 640 processors able to use the
64bit technology or they need to be tweeked?

Go to Intel's web site. Go to the support page for the motherboard in
question and click on the "supported processors" link. If it's not in the
list, don't count on it working.
