Intel 536EP v92 Modem and caller ID

I purchased this modem (Intel 536EP v92) about 2 months
ago and I cannot get the caller id to work. I have tried
everything and every driver, but it still doesn't work. I
have heard that windows xp telephony doesn't support
caller id. Is this true and can some one please help with
my dilemma? Thanks!

Don't take offence, but have you subscribed to caller ID with your telephone
company?

If you have subscribed, all I can say is don't feel bad... some modems which
are supposed to implement caller ID just don't live up to expectations. And
then there is the software which doesn't always work as advertised.

I did have caller ID working with Talkworks Pro.
