Hi

Does Windows XP Home edition install/work ok with an Intel 3.4GHz CPU?

I read somewhere that higher end processors appear as 2 in the system
properties, and only XP Pro supports dual CPU?

Thanks for any help.

Jim

Windows XP Home Edition runs fine with an Intel 3.4GHz CPU.
If you install two CPUs, then you'll need Windows XP Professional.

Your new Intel P4 CPU supports hyper-threading.
