Int. Expl. Script Errrors

D

David

When I lon onto MANY web sites (NY Post, NY Daily News,
Noggin, others), I get the following pop up bos:

Internet Explorer Script Error

Line: 2
Character: 7
Error: Invalid Character
Code: 0

Do you wish to continue?

(On the Microsoft Support site, the following came up:
Internet Explorer Script Error

Line: 1070
Character: 16
Error: Expected '('
Code: 0

Do you wish to continue?

I've tried a variety of things, but nothing works. I'm
running Windows XP. HELP !!! This is VERY frustrating.
After I click "yes" or "no" the box goes away, but still,
come on....

Any suggestions would be welcome.

I thought disabling script debugging solved my problem
but when I went back to the site the problem returned-
thanks anyway - Dale

Thanks.

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Check the box to Disable script debugging.
Uncheck the box to Display a notification about every script error.

You might want to refresh your scripting engine:
