Insufficient system resources... XP SP2?

"Windows - System Error, Insufficient system resources exist
to complete the API"

This occurs after half a dozen resumes from hybernate on a
Dell 8400 with 2GB of RAM and lots of free drive space. I
regularly switch back and forth among accounts on this
stand-alone machine. A dial-up internet connection is used
daily.

I've read the KB article 330909, which does not describe my
system usage and it simply tells one to re-boot the system.
This is the 21st century. Is there a better cure?

Just about all kb articles or fixes below the 870000 wont apply to SP2,
however,thier is a fix for returning from hibernation for xp SP2,unshure
of fix #,but try downloads at microsoft,type in Windows XP in results,use
"by date",i think it was 4-5 months ago,type in:Hibernation Might get you
the fix also.

Thanks. That got me started. But it's not clear at

that the hotfix should be a applied to SP2 which "was
enhanced to reduce the occurrence of this behavior." Should it?
