insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:\Config.Msi

I tried to install the driver of HP all in one device on
my toshiba laptop, but the installation process
discontinued and rolledback.I checked the event viewer
and I found this error:
"Product: Director -- Error 1303.The installer has
insufficient privileges to access this directory:
C:\Config.Msi. The installation cannot continue. Log on
as an administrator or contact your system
administrator." There is only one administrator account
which I log on every time I use my laptop.
I have windows XP pro on my laptop.
Can any body help. Please :-)
