i found this in my root directory thru regedit, but using the search with
the puppy digging around came up blank.
goggled it and came up with nothing.

any one have any ideas?

The file belongs to the ABBYY FineReader OCR Product Line. It is very
possible that the software was once installed on your pc either by itself or
by another program that uses ABBYY, and was probably left as an unused entry
in the registry once the program was removed. Go Download and install C
Cleaner and click the issues button on the left click scan for issues on the
bottom when the scan is done leave all checked and click the fix selected
issues button click yes to backup the registry and save the file to a safe
place and click fix all selected issues and it should remove all of these
unused entries within the registry. Here is a link to C Cleaner it is a
great program. Also use its cleaner utility.
