Instant Messenger Service in Outlook

Does anyone know how I can disable the annoying pop-up
Messenger Service feature in Outlook? Apparently it is
enabled by default when Outlook is being used - but it's
slowly driving me mad! Help, anyone!

Are you talking about Windows/MSN Messenger? Is this Outlook 2002? If
so, go to Tools | Options | Other and disable the integration with IM
there.

Or are you talking about SPAM coming in thru the Windows Messenger Service?
