Installing XP pro, stop error??

I get all the way through the partioning of my SATA HDD and I get to where xp
installs devises and blah blue screen of death giving me a
IRQL_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL error. I have no idea what to do can anyone help with
my problem. By the way its windows xp professional OEM.
any advise is helpful.

the error code is 0x0000000A (0x03F00406, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x804f8c38)

try unpluging all USB devices....and reinstalling...

also, can you confirm if your motherboard is LBA 48 bit compatible, if your
sata drive is more than 137 Gb.

Is this XP pro with Service pack 2?

How big is the first partition you are trying to install? Is it bigger than
137 gb?
