Is there a fix or am I doing something wrong. When I'm
installing (full clean install) XP pro on my new maxtor
160gb hard drive, it only recognizes a portion of it
(131gb). Does any one know how to fix this issue?
Thanks for your time attention and efforts...

Check your motherboard or computer manufacturer's User's Guide
and find how large a hard drive your motherboard is designed to support.
