HI, I hope someone can help me here. We recently bought a
computer with Windows XP already on it. We would like to
use this on our other computer but do not want to buy
another copy of it. How do we go about doing this or who
do we get in touch with about doing this properly. Thanks
for any and all help.

Winodws XP (as with all other versions of Windows) is meant to be
installed on only one computer. I doubt that if you call Microsoft they
will give you a good deal on a second license. To do this LEGALLY
you'll either have to buy another copy of Winodws XP or contact
Microsoft.

A list of sales offices in the USA can be found here:

You have no option but to buy another copy of xp. Your
license agreement allows the software to be installed on
*one* pc only. There is such a thing as volume licensing,
which is more for corporate bodies, however, the minimum
number of licenses that can be purchased is five, so
basically that rules you out.

Hope this helps

You don't. Sorry, Rhonda, but Windows has had a 'one license - one machine'
licensing scheme since Windows 3.1. You will need to purchase one license
for every computer on which you want to install Windows XP.
