DOWNLOADING XP FROM OLD COMPUTER TO ANOTHER COMPUTER

My husband built a computer a few years ago and I bought XP Upgrade by
mistake. I couldn't return it since it was opened so we kept it. We bought
the full version for that computer. We had a laptop that had ME edition on
it and bought another XP upgrade (forgot I had the other one) and installed
it. About 2 months later I bought a brand new laptop with XP on it. We have
since built another computer and and our friend tried to put on one of the
upgraded programs but it didn't work and so we bought another full version XP
for that. All in all we have 3 full versions and 2 upgrades. We were given
an old computer that we were going to use for our kids that has ME on it, we
want to use one of the XP upgrades but don't know which was on the old laptop
(we don't have the laptop anymore). We are not hooking the computer to the
internet since it will be just used for homework projects for our kids. Can
we install either one of these programs, if we had tried to download them
previously and it didn't work did that nullify it to be installed--also how
do we get the authorization code after installation?

With that info you can install the other key on the other PC.

That'll be hard to do seeing as how they don't have that computer anymore
