installing XP on D or E drive

Hi,

Can XP be installed on a partition different from C drive,and does it need
to be in a range of areas on the hard drive as windows 98 used to have to
be??
Is there a way to rename D or E drive C drive wihtout disturbing the files
on any existing partition??

XP can be installed on any Partition/Hard Drive that you like..........but
it will still write its boot files to the System/Boot Partition/HD...
