Installing with WINNT from DOS

Objective:
To install Microsoft Windows XP Professional from over the network

1. My HDD is partitioned and formated with win98 FDISK.exe & FORMAT.com
2. I boot with network boot disk
3. I connect to i386 share on distribution server
4. I run winnt.exe
5. XP setup then copies files to FAT32 HDD
6. Restart FAT32 PC
7. XP Set checks hardware then continues installation
8. After I press 'ENTER' to install
9. PROBLEM - End User License Agreement cannot be found.
10. When I go to directory c:\$win_nt$.~bt there is no trace of eula.txt file
11. Do I need to copy the whole wxpvol_en\i386 to the new HDD for the
installation to continue to run after reboot?
12. Do I need an unattend file in order to run the whole of the installation
over the network?

Many regards

How large of a partition? I suggest using a 4G FAT32 partition and
letting Windows Setup extend it after converting to NTFS.

No, you do not. I don't, anyway.

No, you can do the installation manually. But an unattend.txt file
would speed things up, since it avoids making you answer questions
interactively.

You arent using the i386 from a MSDN partner DVD are you?
(they are built slightly different than a normal cd image and this can
cause the eula error)
