installing windows xp

hi

i just purchased windows xp and right now i have 98. i
have the oem edition of xp so i need to start from scratch
but i dont know how to uninstall windows 98 without
worrying about the computer not reading my xp cd when i
try to install it. do u think u can help me out with this?

Hello nicki !
There is no need to uninstall Win 98.Insert the Win XP CD with 1st boot
as CD Rom Support it will automatically make your system upgraded to
XP.But sometimes during upgradation one may face certain problems.If

You can just put in the disk, and let XP reformat the drive for you.
Be sure to back up the files you wish to retain.
