How long should it take to install i started yesterday at 430pm and here it

Yes, something is definitely wrong. A clean install of XP usually takes
about 30-45 minutes or so. However, there is no way we can point you to
a solution since you've given us no information about your machine.

Assuming a Clean Install I would start over.
There is no reason for Windows XP installation to take so long.
