Installing Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit on a bootable array (

I want to install Vista onto a RAID (0) bootable array for enhanced
performance.

I have a nvidia 680i chipset motherboard.

Do I need to install the nvidia raid drivers before installing windows?

Yep. Either Vista will have driver support for your controller or you'll
have the ability to install the drivers when Windows finds that it cannot
find the array to install to.

In fact reading other peoples opinion on installing your o/s on a RAID 0
format has changed my mind due to it not having any security should 1 hdd
fail. So ideally I would like to set-up a mirror array for my o/s then set
up a RAID (0) array for other applications.

Is this possible & how would you go about it?
