Installing Win2K without CD drive

I want to install Win2K on a Compaq laptop that does not
have a CD-drive in it. Can this be done???

if you can network it...then yes
 
You can use Microsoft's "Remote Installation Services" (do a Google
search). Or, if you do not have an MS server infrastructure, you can
boot from DOS to initiate a network install from a Windows share. See
<http://unattended.sourceforge.net/> for a system which uses the
latter approach.
