Visit the website of the manufacturer of the device you need drivers for.
They should have a place to download drivers for your device that work with
your operating system.
Might help to be a bit more specific about the "etc". Both the examples you
give should work to some degree at least with the "generic" drivers in
Windows 2000 even if it doesn't come with specific ones (For example, a CD
Writer might not work as a writer with the built in drivers but should
function ok for reading CDs).
That aside, some drivers are on windows update, but the best source for
drivers is the manufacturer's support website.
